As I sit here this Christmas morning by the fire, although it’s not really necessary since we’re already in the 40s and heading for 50 something today (crazy winter weather), a traditional Irish toast comes to mind.
“May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, the rains fall soft upon your fields, and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.”
